Halloween report

No surprise that our Halloween was a big success with those people concerned about such things. Margaret had made about 80 bags of goodies. These were gone in the first couple of hours, and we went to the candy reserves for the rest of the evening. We had easily over 100 trick or treaters visit us.

Meanwhile, our threesome was busy pillaging the neighborhood. For the first time out, Paul took the small guys around our block without adult accompaniment. They survived the trip, and we have not received any complaint calls from the neighbors. I took the boys out for another round of collecting candy. Batman (Jordan), Panda (Jack) and Alien (Paul) gathered about two pounds of candy each. Jordan made a compelling case for most energetic trick or treater as he ran from house to house screaming "Happy Halloween!" for the first half hour.

Birthday Season

We have a lot of birthdays this time of year, starting in mid-August and running through mid-October. Here is one of the celebrations for me and Jordan. Two people who are very happy about eating chocolate cake! Posted by Picasa
